SWINDON Town’s development side lost out 5-1 at AFC Bournemouth on Thursday afternoon.
Paul Bodin took the Robins team and saw Luke Rooney’s first half strike level the scores at 1-1 at half-time.
Bodin, who turned 48 today, saw the Town overpowered in the second half against a resolute Bournemouth side.
“Luke scored a great goal to get back on level terms but we made a few changes at the break and it was a young second half team.
“The lads were physically beaten and conceded some poor goals. It was a great exercise though and we learned about them as individuals.”
