SWINDON Town’s League One home fixture against Tranmere Rovers has been moved to Friday 21st December.
The game was due to be played on Saturday 22nd December but has now been brought forward to the Friday night with a 7.45pm kick-off.
Town Chief Executive, Nick Watkins, commented: “The final Saturday before Christmas is traditionally a poorly attended fixture so we have moved the game with the aim of encouraging a bumper festive attendance under lights at The County Ground.
“The night will be Christmas themed with a number of initiatives and packages to be announced in the build-up over the coming months.”
