Flint's double delight

20 April 2013

GOALSCORER Aden Flint scored twice against Stevenage to help the Robins cement their place in the end of season Play-Offs.

The defender scored a goal in each half to secure another valuable victory at The County Ground.

He said: “All credit to the boys today because they really dug in and put in a performance.

“I was pleased to get two goals. I don’t normally get one let alone two in one game! I think the first one came off my shin but I won’t complain.

“The second one was a bit better but I was in the right place at the right time and thankfully it went in the bottom corner.”

Town have now secured their place in the end of season Play-Offs with Flint now looking forward to the end of season shake-up.

“We can look forward to the Play-Offs now. I think we can beat any side but we will see what happens. We know you have to beat the best to achieve success so we will have to beat whoever it put in front of us.”
