TOWN manager Kevin MacDonald spoke to the assembled media after his side's 2-0 defeat at MK Dons.
On defeat...
Very disappointing that we've lost 2-0 especially after we outplayed them. In games like these big decisions by officials can sometimes change matches. I didn't see anything wrong with the (disallowed) goal. It was a disappointing second half, they haven't really threatened Wes and from a set piece we get done. We were disappointed with how we finished. We were comfortable first half, we felt we had more possession but didn't hurt them enough. Then second half there wasn't much between the sides but they got the breaks. We had a couple of shots but the second half, the couple of shots we had were weak. We're trying to show intent but we don't seem to be creating the chances. We still had impetus we just didn't really play quickly enough in the final third.
On goals conceded...
We've cleared the first one then they got a free header at the far post. For the second one we felt it was out of play.
On Wes Foderingham...
By the letter of the law he could have been sent off. I felt Wes was in control but that was the wrong decision by Wes in many ways.
On the remaining fixtures...
We're not scoring the goals from chances created. Against Oldham and Notts County we had chances. We've just got to get down to the training ground and keep working. You win as a team and lose as a team so we've got to work hard together and get back to winning ways. We've got to get on with it and look after ourselves and look to get 12 points (from our remaining games). We've got to make the players believe.
