On the win…
We deserved the win today. We created a lot of chances but didn’t take them all. I am very pleased for them and very pleased for the fans and for the football club.
On the goals…
I think Aden’s first one took a ricochet off his shin but I don’t think he will complain having scored a couple today! Gary Roberts took his goal well but also created a lot of openings for other people. He was probably the standout player on the pitch today.
On injuries…
Alan Navarro, Simon Ferry and Tommy Miller have a chance of coming back into contention perhaps for Scunthorpe or for the Play-Offs. They have a chance although they haven’t taken part in training yet. If we don’t get them back then we will go with the young lads again.
On the Play-Offs…
We need to keep the momentum going. We are not frightened of any side so it doesn’t matter what position we finish in. Momentum will be the key and we have registered back to back victories now. We can look forward to next weekend and then the Play-Offs.
On the crowd…
The crowd have been fantastic over the last couple of games and they could play a big part for us in the Play-Offs. I must thank them again for their support once again today and we can all look forward to the next few weeks now.
