SWINDON Town manager Kevin MacDonald has warned his side to tidy up their game ahead of next weekend’s League One Play-Offs.
Town will host Brentford at The County Ground on Saturday 4th May with a 5.20pm kick-off before the return leg at Griffin Park two days later.
MacDonald saw his side concede three late goals at Glanford Park after James Collins had opened the scoring. The boss offered his views on the Play-Off line-up after the final whistle at Scunthorpe.
He said: “Saturday will be a tough game for both teams. I am more worried about how we played in our last game, because we didn’t defend well in the final ten minutes and have to tidy things up.
“We are at home first but the order doesn’t matter, we just have to win. The first game in these Play-Off games is usually very tight and the second game becomes like a one-off fixture. Brentford have a lot of strength in their side and we have seen them recently.
“I am sure our fans can play a big part too and I am sure there will be a great atmosphere at The County Ground next weekend.”
