GOALSCORER Massimo Luongo impressed again as the Robins roared back to winning ways on Tuesday night.

The Australian headed home the Town second goal in a comfortable 4-1 home victory over Crewe Alexandra – his first strike in a Swindon shirt.

Speaking to the official site after the game, the 20-year old was delighted with the night’s work.

He said: “It was an enjoyable night and it was a great effort from everyone out there.

“For the goal I remember their player was about to kick my head off so I had to get in quick! I jumped in first and it was great to see the ball hit the back of the net.”

The midfielder also praised the home support for their vocal backing, with the Robins back on home territory this weekend.

“We pressed Crewe high and the crowd really got behind us tonight. It put us at ease a little bit but the early goal set the game up.
“Now we can look forward to Saturday and with one more win we have secure a play-off place. With it being a home game that should go in our favour, especially after tonight, but it’s up to us.”
