SWINDON Town Ladies are into the final of the League Cup after a 4-2 win over Southampton Saints LFC on Sunday afternoon.
The Robins took on the Saints at The County Ground and found themselves 2-0 up early on thanks to goals from Catherine Reid and Ellie Maynard. Despite the visitors grabbing a goal back, Chyna Collings then made it 3-1 before the break.
After half time, some fine play between Collings and Abby Picton ended with the former adding a fourth goal for Town. Another goal from Saints made the final scoreline 4-2 to the home side.
The ladies will now either play Exeter or Keynsham Town in the final.
STFC Ladies currently play in the Women’s South-West Combination League and are looking for more players.
