The front-man moved to Swindon in January 2012 and he has made 39 appearances for the Town. He also has 15 goals to his name in Swindon colours including the winner against Wigan Athletic in the third round of the FA Cup at The County Ground.
Benson spent time on loan at Portsmouth and Cheltenham Town last term.
