TOWN Captain Darren Ward has welcomed the addition of striker Nile Ranger to the squad.
“He’s a good addition to our strike force which throughout the season is very important to have,” he said. “He’s a presence and it will be good to have presence like himself on the pitch.
“He can’t wait to get going. He’s itching to go, he’s got a smile on his face and the lads all look forward to playing with him.”
Goalkeeper Wes Foderingham played with Ranger internationally for England’s under-19s.
“He’s a big lad, he holds the ball up really well and he’s good with his feet. He’s quick and he’s got everything to be a good striker.
“I’ve spoken to him and he’s excited. It’s a young team here and he wants to do well. It’s a turning point for himself as well.”
