SWINDON Town manager Paolo Di Canio is hoping his side can continue their good run against Crawley Town when the two sides go head to head on Saturday afternoon.

The League One meeting will be shown in front of the Sky Sports cameras and Di Canio is expecting a tough afternoon for his players.

He said: “We have had good results against them and hopefully we can have another one on Saturday.

“The game was off there(at Leyton Orient) the other night and we know the pitch will be difficult.

"We want to play our football but we know the players will have to spend their energy.

“On Tuesday night at Leyton Orient we proved that we can play football on a nearly unplayable pitch and the players will have to be ready again at Crawley.”

Swindon’s last encounter with Crawley was on Tuesday 21st August 2012 with Tommy Miller and Raffaele De Vita amongst the goalscorers. In the 2011/12 season Swindon were twice 3-0 winners over Crawley in League Two.
