Do it for Tommy & Darren

22 February 2013

JAMES Collins is looking forward to getting back out on home turf this weekend when Preston visit The County Ground.

After their success at Tranmere on Tuesday night coupled with the changes in personnel this week, the striker says that Town are focusing on Saturday’s encounter.

“It was a great win for the boys on Tuesday and we can’t wait to go now for Saturday,” he said. “We’re going to do it for each other and do it for Tommy and Darren so we need to look forward to Saturday and getting the three points.

“Not much has changed. We had a routine Thursday: Tommy and Darren did very well, everything went well and we’ll be back in today preparing for Saturday.”

Swindon were comfortably beaten at Deepdale earlier on in the campaign and Collins says that the side want to make amends.

“They caught us on a bad day up there,” he said. “They battered us and obviously it was a 4-1 score-line and it’s never nice to be beaten by that sort of score-line. Hopefully when we come to The County Ground it will be rocking as well so hopefully we’ll put on a good performance and give them what they gave us last time.”
