On the draw…
We had chances to win the game but it’s a good point. It is another game we haven’t lost but I didn’t enjoy the first half. Another game has gone and we have taken a draw but we now look to Colchester on Tuesday.
On Adam Rooney…
In the last few weeks I have tried him in the wide areas in training but he played an important part today. He kept the ball well. In the first half it was a disaster up front and we didn’t retain the ball. Rooney was very good right from his first touch and we know we can call on him.
On the future…
I don’t want to talk about any statement today. It is the day of the game and I only want to talk about my players and how proud I am of them. I want to look forward and to see what we can achieve here. I was focused on the team today and we gave them all the details required ahead of the game. Credit to the players today. Tomorrow we will work, Monday we will work and we take on Colchester on Tuesday.
