MILES Storey will undergo a scan on Thursday after being forced off in the first half against Tranmere Rovers on Tuesday night through injury.
Storey was handed a place in the starting eleven at Prenton Park for his tenth senior appearance of the campaign. However a hamstring injury brought an early end to his participation after 25 minutes.
Speaking on Wednesday morning, Town Physio Paul Godfrey said: “Upon initial assessment Miles looks to have sustained a moderate hamstring strain.
“He will be scanned on Thursday to confirm the diagnosis and we will have a much better indication of the time he will be out once the results of the scan are known.”
