TOWN defender Aaron Oakley has been called into the Wales Under-21 squad for their friendly against Iceland on Wednesday 6th February at Stebonheath Park, Llanelli.
This Vauxhall Under-21 friendly international will be a preparation game for Wales Intermediate teams manager, Geraint Williams and his young squad before the start of the next UEFA Under 21 championships, the finals of which will be held in the Czech Republic in 2015.
Oakley was named amongst the substitutes for Town’s away League One game at Crawley Town on Saturday, but is yet to make his senior bow for the Robins.
The defender was initially named on standby for the Under-21s but has now been called up to the squad and linked up with the Wales party on Sunday.
