Ferry - A Massive Game

9 January 2013

SIMON Ferry is relishing the prospect of facing in-form AFC Bournemouth this weekend.

Town travel to the Goldsands Stadium off the back of three thumping wins and the Scot has not underestimated the size of the task that awaits Paolo Di Canio’s men on the south coast on Saturday.

“The whole week we’ll be working towards Bournemouth,” he said.” Obviously it’s a massive game.

“They’ve gone so many unbeaten and they’re playing well but so are we. We’ve won our last three games 5-0, 5-0 and 4-0 so it should make for a good game.

“In training this week we’ve sat and watched clips because you can’t be perfect. Every Monday we sit and watch whether we win or lose. We then look at things to work on and things to take into the next game.”

Speaking to the official website after Saturday’s win over Carlisle, Ferry praised the side’s quick start against the Cumbrians.

“It’s a great win,” he said. “Obviously when you win two games 5-0 there can be a tendency to drop off but I thought we started the game brilliantly.

“We penned them back in their half and could have scored more than two before half time.”
