PAOLO Di Canio has denied reports linking midfielder Matt Ritchie with a move away from The County Ground, stating that the influential winger is ‘not for sale’.
Ritchie has been in fine form for Town once again this season and has scored nine goals in 31 appearances with the Robins currently vying for promotion to the second tier.
The Italian once again reaffirmed his backing for the player and insists he is a key part of Town’s promotion plans.
Di Canio said: “This January we haven’t received any offers for Matt Ritchie, not one.
“Last season we received an offer of close to £1 million for him, but there has been nothing in this transfer window.
“It would take a crazy offer to take him away from this football club. He is not for sale.”
