MIDFIELDER Oliver Risser has today left the club by mutual consent.
The 32-year-old had played in Norway, Germany and Greece prior to arriving at The County Ground and penned a two-year-deal at The County Ground in July 2011.
He was named club captain shortly after before scoring his first Town goal on the opening day of the 2011/12 season against Crewe Alexandra. He scored four times in 40 appearances during Town’s League Two title winning campaign last season.
With first team opportunities limited at The County Ground this term he joined League One side Stevenage and made 13 appearances for the club during the first half of the campaign.
