Robins lose out in second friendly
SWINDON Town went down 2-0 at Banbury United in their second pre-season friendly on Friday evening.The home side took the lead midway through the first half when a cross from the left was met by Luke Craig who headed past Wes Foderingham.
Albi Skendi – who played for the Robins on trial at Swindon Supermarine a few days earlier – sidefooted home the second and final goal of the game five minutes into the second period.
Town boss Kevin MacDonald used the game to play several new signings and a handful of trialists, including Finnish Under 21 international Denis Abdulahi.
The Robins travel to Devizes for a Development XI friendly on Tuesday evening, kick-off 7.30pm.
