TOWN have made their second signing of the day with the arrival of former Fulham man Alex Smith on a one-year deal.
The 21-year old joins the Robins with 11 seasons at Craven Cottage to his name, and made his Premier League debut against West Bromwich Albion in September 2012.
He can play in defence or midfield and spent loan spells at Leyton Orient and Stevenage during the 2012/13 season.
Smith trained with his teammates today and put pen to paper on a one-year deal, with a one-year option, this afternoon.
