RAFFAELE De Vita says that despite the disappointment of defeat in the play-off semi-final, Town can be proud of their performance.
Speaking exclusively to STFC Player, the Italian described the atmosphere in the dressing room post-match.
“It’s sickening really when you get that close,” he said. “It’s always hard to lose it that way. I thought we did really well to get back into it. You know the penalties what they’re like and anything can happen.
“Unfortunately it wasn’t to be but we’re proud of ourselves and the way we got back into the game. We try to take the positives even though it’s a tough one to take.
“Everyone was devastated, the manager tried to pick us up even though it felt like the end of the world.”
