TOWN Manager Mark Cooper spoke to the media after Swindon’s 0-0 draw at Crawley.
On the result…
We set up to get something out of game. The longer the game went on the more adventurous we became. I felt we had opportunities on the break and with more care and the right pass we would have got a goal. If we’d have kept 11 men on the field we’d have won the game. we scored a perfectly good goal and never looked in trouble. I go home happy with the team’s performance because we’ve kept a clean sheet and the points tally ticking over.
On Town’s tactics…
We had to sacrifice something because we conceded three goals on Saturday. We came away from home and got a point now we move on.
On the second half…
I felt the longer 2nd half went on, the more dangerous we were on break. They threw everything they had at us. It’s a clean sheet and we move on to Carlisle on Saturday.
