A group of STFC players were in the town centre yesterday as they went up against the FIFA PLAYA in the EA Sports 'Dugout'.
Miles Storey, Tyrell Belford and Nathan Byrne entered a mini tournament to test their gaming skills on the new FIFA14 game. The final went into extra time as Tyrell pushed FIFA PLAYA to the edges of his ability by leading 3-2 with only two minutes of normal time remaining. Unfortunately he could not hold on and FIFA PLAYA prevailed again to grab victory.
It was then the turn of Saturday's hero Nile Ranger to take up the challenge. It was a very tight game and after 90 minutes it was tied at 1-1. Finally, the FIFA PLAYA was defeated with the last kick of the penalty shootout.
