Cooper: A Difficult Place To Go

MARK Cooper expects Luton to put his young charges to the test when Town head to Bedfordshire in the first round of the Capital One Cup this evening.

Speaking to STFC Player, Cooper admits that Kenilworth Road will be a tough place to go.

“It will be a tough game,” he said. “It’s always a difficult place to go to, Kenilworth Road. (It’s a) hostile crowd and they’re a team that have got a lot of momentum behind them so we’re expecting a thoroughly difficult test.”

The Town boss also hailed to impact of John Still on the Hatters’ recent fortunes.

“He’s done brilliantly wherever he’s been,” he continued. “He’s had success, he’s had teams that have won the Conference. His teams are always really hard to play against and are always on the front foot so it will be a tough game for us.”
