FITC: Summer Course Week One Review

1 August 2014

SWINDON Town Football in the Community kicked off the first of five weeks of Summer Holiday Courses this week and the first week was a resounding success.

A super three-day course in Swindon was rounded off by a visit from Town defender, Jack Barthram. The football-loving children participated in a thorough Question and Answer session and Jack also handed out the trophies to the children that took part.

During this week’s course, we saw some superb football played from each group which was matched by great behaviour and attitude by everyone who attended, with some exceptional teamwork and individual skills and techniques – a concept our coaches thoroughly applauded and enjoyed. A big well done to all of our footballers who took part throughout the week. Congratulations to Arran Ajula , who won the famous ‘Kid of the Course’ trophy from Group 6.

Week 2 of the Summer fun and development starts next week, with the Swindon Town Football in the Community team in Swindon and Ashton Keynes, whilst also running an Elite Camp and Goalkeeping Clinic in Swindon.

If you are booked onto the 3 day course in Swindon and would like to add an extra 4th day on Friday for £10, there are still some spaces available so give us a quick call on 01793 421303 and we’ll book you on.

There are also limited spaces left for the rest of the summer.
