Speaking to the media afterwards, the midfielder admitted that Town still had work to do before the new season kicks off.
"I was nice to finally get a couple in," he said. "Hopefully I can carry that on into the season. All I aim to do every time I play (is) keep myself in the team and play as well as I can.
"You get the idea of how we're looking to play. We still need to iron out (a few things) on the training pitch but once we get it right, it will be effective."
After experiencing his first pre-season as a professional, Gladwin compared it to his time in non-league football.
"It's completely different," he said. "It will sound strange but down at Marlow it was a lot tougher. You have to cram in a lot of running (into a short space of time). It's been good though (at Swindon) I've enjoyed it."
