Gladwin: A Great Cross

1 December 2014

BEN Gladwin hailed the contribution of Harry Toffolo in supplying the cross from which he headed home the only goal of Saturday's win over Fleetwood Town.

Speaking to the media post-match, the midfielder also admitted that the team had been rewarded for their patience against the Cod Army.

"It was a fantastic delivery (from Harry)," he said. "I thought: "right, that's on my head" - it was a great cross.

"I'm not the best at heading the ball so I don't know what happened! I should do a bit more work (on my heading) especially if it gets me more goals.

"We always looked like scoring. You see more teams come here now and set up to not concede. It was a great performance from the boys and good discipline from the boys to maintain that level of performance."
