TOWN Manager Mark Cooper spoke to the media after the 1-1 draw with Crawley.
On the result...
1-0 up with 10/15 minutes to go and have a chance to win a game. Ten seconds later, it's in the back of our net - very frustrating. Tonight, I thought we did ok until the final third. We weren't good enough in the final third.
On the performance...
We had loads of possession but not enough threat. The forwards need to hold the ball up so we can move up the pitch and get the ball on the edge of their area.
On possession football...
When you're not having a great spell the fans can become edgy which transmits to the players but we have to go backwards sometimes to go forward. Perhaps there was a little too much of that tonight. Our possession was too slow. We didn't switch the play quick enough and, for me, it was down to our forwards not getting the ball enough.
On the goal...
It was one wing back crossing and one of their defenders scoring for us. That's what happens when you put balls in the box.
