Cooper: We totally dominated

14 February 2014

MARK Cooper spoke to the media after the 0-0 draw with Colchester at SN1.

On the result...
We totally dominated from start to finish. The conditions make the game a lottery but we played good football and the only thing missing was a touch of quality. We deserved to win, no doubt.

On the conditions...
Credit to my players. They tried to play and played well in the conditions it's just frustrating that we didn't get the breakthrough. We had to play in treacherous conditions and I thought from the groundsman, Marcus Cassidy, who did an amazing job to get the game on, to the players; they all had a tremendous attitude.

On the tactical line-up...
There was no need to change. We played well last week and created numerous opportunitites (this evening).

On Nile Ranger's injury...
We'll see tomorrow. He felt a tweak in his hamstring.

On taking chances...
It was difficult with the wind, we tried to keep the ball on the floor. Nathan Byrne had a chance and Nathan Thompson too but there's no getting away from the fact we should have won. I've just said to the players "don't get down, move onto the next one" and we have got a great game on Monday to look forward to.
