A Valentine’s night ball, featuring the UK’s premier Bee Gees tribute act, will now take place at the De Vere Leisure Village at Shaw Ridge this Friday (14 February), and not at Swindon Town Legends Lounge as originally planned.
The event, which has been organised to raise funds for Prospect Hospice, has been subject to a late venue switch because Swindon Town’s home game against Colchester now takes place on Friday night, and the organisers have worked alongside the football club to secure an alternative venue.
Natalie Hearn, who has organised the event with her husband Steve, said: “We have tried to ensure that everyone who already has a ticket for the Valentine’s Ball knows of the change, and we are confident that the new venue will be just as good. Hot food will be available to purchase on the evening, and all tickets for the original venue will just transfer across.”
