MASSIMO Luongo echoed the post-match thoughts of Manager Mark Cooper and agreed that Town’s decision-making cost them dear against Stevenage.
The midfielder went on to assess where Town went wrong at the Lamex Stadium.
“To be fair there were a few,” he admitted. “I think the main one was that we didn’t have the right desire coming into the game. We did but it wasn’t shown on the pitch and I think our decision-making was poor for both of the goals. The whole structure of the game and the tempo of the game could have improved.”
He continued: “We do have our down days when we come away and it seems to be a theme but we haven’t yet figured that one out. We’ve tried a few things and we’ve put everyone behind the ball. I think we need to watch it over the next few days and figure it out.”
