Cooper: Pleased With What We Saw

13 July 2014

MARK Cooper spoke to the assembled media after Town's 3-0 win at Swindon Supermarine.

On the victory...
It's another step up with the fitness. In the first half we controlled the game and created chances. At half time we changed it around and we had a similar amount of chances. I'm pleased with what we saw today. It's about getting through without too many injurites and topping that fitness up.

On team selection...
we said the team that finished the game at Yate would play in the first half. We had a couple of knocks so we put Nath (Thompson), Rapha (Branco) and Yaser (Kasim) as a back three which gave us the opportunity to dominate the ball.

On injuries...
Curtis (Da Costa) has got a dead leg and Ben Gladwin had a knock on his knee on Friday. He played yesterday but it was sore today.

On Will Randall and Lee Marshall...
Exeptional. Will and 'Marshy', they played half a game this morning for the youth team then played half a game today and I thought they were very good.
