Swindon Town Ladies have a break from South West Combination League action on Sunday when they visit Swindon Spitfires in the semi-final of the Wiltshire County Cup, writes Roger Reeves.
The Town still hold top spot in the South West Combination League despite a run of disappointing results. The Town, who are the County Cup holders, welcome back into the squad Sam Quinn who was unavailable last week and Michelle Rich who is returning from injury.
Team Manager Jason Brizell said: "It’s the semi-final of the Cup so both sides will be keen to make the final. Our League performances of late have been good although it’s disappointing that we have not picked up more points."
