Swindon Town Ladies face their biggest test of the season when they travel to face Chichester City in the South West Combination League this weekend, writes Roger Reeves.
The Sussex side are unbeaten and have only been held to a draw twice. Although the Town are in top place, Chichester have games in hand. Chichester played in the South East Combination last season and because of a League re-organisation moved to join the South West League.
The Town did face Chichester last season in the FA Cup and won by four goals to two. The two sides have not met so far this season. Manager Jason Brizell said: "Everyone is disappointed after last week’s defeat by Exeter City but we have a great chance to put things right on Sunday.
"It will be tough, but we have got to step up to the mark and so what we are really capable of."
