FOLLOWING on from inaccurate media reports, STFC confirm that Lee Power and Swinton Reds 20 Limited continue to remain the legal owners of STFC.

An application to grant permission to appeal against this judgement by Mr McCrory and Seebeck 87 Limited has now been accepted by the Court of Appeal with no firm set date for a hearing.

The Board would like to stress that in terms of ownership nothing has changed – simply put, Mr McCrory and Seebeck 87 Limited have been permitted to challenge this judgement at the Court of Appeal.

Whilst this latest action is unwelcome the Board would like to reassure fans that the well-publicised facts surrounding ownership remain unchanged and the challenge will be robustly defended.
