Newton's Extreme Classroom Project

29 September 2014

AFTER tackling Mount Everest last year, Academy Manager Jeremy Newton is away this week to take part in the third challenge of the Extreme Classroom Project.

He has already been to Tanzania, as well as Everest last year and this year, he will cycle 350 kilometres in four days and cover three countries.

The first day saw the cyclists - including England Rugby World Cup winner, Lewis Moody - leave their base in France to start the journey of 76km, with some hills of Category Three status and some that were Category Two, with the first night seeing the party travel over the border with Switzerland.
