Swindon Town

THIS Sunday, Swindon Town Ladies entertain Exeter City in the FA Women’s Premier League South West Division One. Exeter are currently in third place, four points behind second-placed Town but with a game in hand, writes Roger Reeves.

Last season the Town won in Devon by four goals to one but lost the home fixture by two goals to one.

Manager Steve Robertson said: "After the disappointing draw at Southampton, he was hoping that the team would bounce back and get back to winning ways again. Exeter are always a strong side and last season finished runners up in the League. Despite an indifferent performance last week, everyone is still very positive."

The Town have included the former Nottingham Forest player Meg Vella in their squad but are without Laura Morgan who was injured in last Sunday’s draw at Southampton.

Sunday’s game will be played at Fairford Town FC, Cinder Lane, Fairford, Glos GL7 4AX and will Kick Off at 2.00 pm.
