MARK Cooper spoke to the media after the win at Rochdale…

On the victory…
We should have been ten nil up. I’ve just had a bit of a pop at them – they shouldn’t be conceding goals in that position. They should be controlling the game and pressing home the advantage. For us to be only two goals ahead at the end is a travesty.

On the performance…
We started off by defending really well. It enabled us to attack quickly and we played with a real pace. Gladwin and Luongo were exceptional, Anton gave us security and at times we were breathtaking. When you concede a goal on half time, it gives them impetus. It should never have happened.

Looking ahead…
It’s that stage of the season where people get nerves. It’s three points (tonight) we keep going and move onto Yeovil.

On Ben Gladwin
I’ve been bantering him for weeks that he doesn’t score enough goals for the positions he gets in. I asked him for a goal and he’s rammed that down my throat tonight. He’s got numerous tricks which gives him space. He’s another exciting prospect at this football club.
