MANAGER Mark Cooper spoke to the media after Town's opening-day success over Bradford.

On what was said at half time...
'Stay in the game'. You can see what Bradford were trying to do - lull us into giving the ball away in midfield and break, so we had to tidy up in our passing but the main thing was, I changed the shape at half time and it seemed to suit playing against them. They deserve all the credit. They all played their part and contributed to what was an outstanding second half performance.

On the second half performance...
You never expect it to be as emphatic as that but Byrney has got that in him to change a game. The key was to stay in the game. The penalty save changed the game - we go 2-0 down and it’s a different story. The 'keeper made a brilliant save.

On the hat-trick hero...
Nathan is all about confidence you just have to put your arm around him, just let him play and ask him to be positive.

On the fourth goal...
It was a good move, a good finish. We played some brilliant football in the second half. We had the crowd on the edge of their seats at times and they didn’t really have an answer to that.

On the injury to Jermaine Hylton...
We think he could have fractured his collarbone. He's going for an X-Ray.
