After a break from action enforced by defeat at the hands of tomorrow’s visitors, the midfielder took the positives from having a week off.
“When you win games you want to play,” he said. “People say when you win a lot of games you want to play every day but I think it was a good thing to have a break.
“They (Rochdale) beat us in the FA Cup so it will be a difficult game like every game in this league,” he said. “I think every team can beat every team in this league so we have to be focused and if we play the way we played at Chesterfield we can win.”
Town’s next home game will be a Boxing Day meeting with Gillingham, a footballing experience that will be quite new to the Frenchman.
“This is the first time I will play on Boxing Day,” he revealed. “The first time I was in England was after January so it will be a good experience. It’s good to play on Boxing Day because in France we have a break for one week and in one week you can do nothing so at least you can give some joy and happiness to the fans on Boxing Day.”
