Cooper: A Pleasing Three Points

MARK Cooper spoke to the media after victory over Bradford.

On the result...
i think we needed to get back on track - the three points were most important thing. I thought we were outstanding in the first half and the game could have been out of sight. We were a bit wasteful in front of goal. 2-0 is a funny scoreline. In the first ten minutes of the second half we played with our hearts not our heads and made it end to end when we needed to control the tempo and pace of game. They (the players) realised they made the game far too open at the start of the second half.

On Massimo Luongo...
He was outstanding first half and he looked a real top talent. He could have had his hat-trick.

On the opposition...
Bradford have got some experienced players and they know how to win games. After the first ten minutes of the second half we got to grips with it again. The most pleasing thing is three points.
