SWINDON Town are delighted to officially unveil Headway Swindon and District as the club’s Charity of the Year for the next two seasons.

The charity was voted for by supporters on Fanzai, from a shortlist of four local charities.

Jane Weston, the Centre Manager commented: “It is fabulous news. We are thrilled and delighted to have been selected and very much looking forward to working in partnership with STFC for the next two seasons.”

Headway helps adults who have survived a brain injury caused by a sudden event such as a traffic accident or stroke. Due to increasing demand for their service, the main objective for Headway is, within the next year, to move to bigger premises in Swindon and furnish it with new equipment and install a life skills kitchen to enable clients to develop cooking skills to use at home.
