VOTING has opened for the Swindon Town Player of the Month award for March.

Link Sport has teamed up with the Robins and their lead sponsor, Imagine Cruising, to give fans the chance to pick the player they feel has contributed most to Town’s cause each month. Massimo Luongo won the February poll with 40 per cent of the votes cast.

Vote on the homepage of the Link Sport website between now and midnight on April 2, with everyone who participates in the free-to-enter ballot automatically submitted into a prize draw to win a P&O taster cruise, courtesy of Imagine Cruising.

In March, Swindon Town returned three victories and a defeat from their four matches. Following a 3-0 humbling at home to Gillingham, Notts County were beaten by the same scoreline at the County Ground. Wins at Port Vale and Doncaster Rovers rounded off the month.

Defender Jordan Turnbull, the club’s only ever-present, has continued to impress, while goalkeeper Wes Foderingham produced memorable saves against Notts, Vale and Donny and John Swift has been increasingly influential in the middle of midfield.

The award will be presented to the player who receives the most votes prior to Town’s clash with MK Dons at the County Ground on Saturday, April 4.
