After sitting out 3-1 loss at Spotland, the midfielder revealed that it’s been a positive week of work on the training pitches at Calne.
“It’s always frustrating not being able to play in a game,” he said. “But after five 90 minutes on the bounce, it was probably wasn’t the worst thing to happen. I feel fresh going into Saturday’s game.
“Really good really positive on the training pitch there have been some good messages put across and I think we’re really starting to get back to our old ways so it’s not easy with the run we’ve been on but hopefully performances and results will start to reflect.
Gladwin recalled the fixture between the two sides at SN1 last season and declared that Town will be looking to put in a good performance against the Iron on Saturday.
He said: “It was quite a fast start from what I remember I think we scored in the first few minutes a great way to start the season. Hopefully we’ll put in another good performance on Saturday as well.
“We’ll respect them and work hard on trying to stop them but we played against Coventry and Wigan – two good sides – and put in two good performances so that’s something we’ll look to do again."
