Obika: We Have A Resilience About Us

20 November 2015

JON Obika believes that the Town squad have a resilience about them going into Saturday's trip to Fleetwood Town.

After recording a victory last time out against Scunthorpe, the striker says that it was good to get back to winning ways.

"It felt amazing," he said. "However it came, we’ll take that on the back of a couple of defeats. They hadn’t lost in six or seven so we knew it would be a tough game but now we have a resilience about us and hopefully we can get a few more goals."

Obika stepped off the bench last season when Town earned a point at Fleetwood and says he is hoping that Town bring all three points back with them to Wiltshire on Saturday night.

"It was a 2-2 draw," he recalled. "We were 2-0 down so we had to ride it out but Louis Thompson got an equaliser at the end so it was good times. Hopefully we can get three points on Saturday.

"Everywhere in this league is tough so you always have to be switched on and hopefully we get the performance right and the three points."
