Ben Gladwin pulled one back for Swindon before Nicky Ajose’s injury-time penalty earned the Town a share of the spoils against the Sky Blues.
Kasim says that after a good week of training behind them, the squad are hoping to take the positive vibes into Saturday’s clash at Wigan Athletic.
“(I was pleased with) the way we came back from 2-0 down and also the progression we made from the week before against Oldham,” he told the official website. “I enjoyed it, the boys were feeling good after the game and it felt like lots of us did the jobs we set out to do during the week.
“We felt like we put in certain things that we had worked on and to come back from 2-0 down - it’s a nice feeling. Also, when you’re playing a certain way and you feel it and understand it, you kind of feel aggrieved when you go 2-0 down and you shouldn’t.
“We’ve worked for the last two days and it feels really good. Yesterday’s session was very good, very through-provoking so I enjoyed it a lot. If I’m getting that feeling then I’m sure a lot of the boys are getting that feeling too and that can only help us come gameday.”
He added: “We have control of our destiny - that’s what makes me feel quite calm and collected. If we’re doing the right things on the training pitch then I always feel good going into any game.”
