Speaking to the official website, Shaun King, one of the competition winners says that he was ‘chuffed to bits’ to have been chosen.
“It’s a well-known brand,” he said. “It’s good for a club lower down the pyramid to get that interaction and to get - as I did - a nice bet, a win and winning the competition is great. I’m chuffed to bits.
“I bet on other sites but if someone said to me ‘bet on this site and you’ve got a chance of winning this’ then that’s great. If you don’t win, then you’ve still got your bet. You’re always going to bet with someone and if this other company is giving you an option of winning something then great.
“If you can get national or local recognition and you can promote the brand internationally, it’s going to get picked up by people who have never heard of Swindon Town. I’ll definitely promote it to my friends and say it’s worth a go.”
