SWINDON Town are delighted to confirm the loan signing of Louis Thompson from Norwich City.

The former Town midfielder has joined on a youth loan until the 18th December 2015.

A graduate of the academy at SN1, Louis made his Swindon debut in an FA Cup tie at Leicester City in 2012. He stablished himself as a regular in the Town midfield at the start of last term, prompting the Canaries to bring him to Carrow Road on a permanent deal before loaning him back for the remainder of the season.

Louis made 38 appearances last year, netting three goals before a shoulder injury at the end of February ruled him out for the rest of the campaign. He recovered in time to make a cameo appearance in the Play-Off Final at Wembley.

The midfielder will wear the number 18 during his loan stint at the CG.
