The Brewers come to SN1 full of confidence following promotion last term and currently sit third in the League 1 table. The on-loan Liverpool 'keeper told the official website that Town have to try and put a stop to their momentum.
“We’ve had two tough away games,” he said. “We didn’t play particularly well in either of the games but we got a win in one of them which is pleasing. Then a defeat where we just didn’t defend well. We weren’t even unlucky. When you defend like that you’re going to concede goals so we’ve just got to bounce back against Burton who have been on good form.
“They’ve just come up and they’ve done well so far. We’ve hopefully got to put a stop to their momentum and get another three points on the board on Saturday.”
Town’s next two fixtures are at home after a fortnight on the road and the stopper says that neither opponent should be underestimated.
“We shouldn’t take either of them lightly,” he warned. “Colchester haven’t been doing that well but they went and won at Sheffield United on Tuesday so we’ve just got to forget about the results and take each game as it comes.”
