EXETER CITY - 1
SWINDON TOWN - 2
The Town kept top sport in the FA Women’s Premier League Division One South West when they visited Exeter City and won by two goals to one, writes Roger Reeves.
The Town had more of the possession in the first half but were unable to create any openings, although the home side looked to more likely to score.
Almost straight from the re-start Exeter took the lead when Helen Kokor found the net. Swindon continued to have the better of the play but had to wait until the 74th minute before Meg Vella got their equaliser, running through the home defence then beating the advancing 'keeper.
Meg Attenborough got the winner in the 84th minute when she latched onto Vella’s corner.
